Mira Visions
Toronto branding

Branding and logo design in Toronto, for product brands.

We build brand identities for founders who are about to put a product on a shelf, a screen or both. Logo, colour, type, packaging and the rules that hold them together, designed in Toronto by a studio that also builds the website the brand will live on.

Mira Visions is a Toronto branding studio for e-commerce and consumer brands. A complete brand identity, logo suite, colour and type system, guidelines and source files, starts from $2,500 CAD and usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.

What we mean by branding

Search "branding agency Toronto" and you'll find everything from naming consultancies to print shops. We sit in a specific spot: visual identity for product brands. That means the logo and wordmark, but also the colour palette, the typography, the photography and 3D direction, the packaging, and a set of rules clear enough that your next freelancer can't accidentally break it.

A logo on its own is rarely the problem. The problem is the brand showing up with three slightly different greens and two versions of the logo depending on who exported the file. We design the system so that doesn't happen.

Categories we know well

Most of our identity work is in skincare, fragrance and wellness, categories where the packaging is often the first thing a customer touches and where a premium price has to be earned visually. We built Turapura, a science-backed PDRN skincare brand, Nuarai, a luxury niche-fragrance house, and Kyachi, a women's wellness supplement brand, from the first sketch to the store. We've also delivered standalone identities, like Idili and Quedebio, for brands that already had a plan for the rest.

Each of those categories has its own codes. Skincare buyers read clinical cues; fragrance buyers read mood; supplement buyers read trust and dosage clarity. Knowing which codes to respect and which to break is most of the job.

What a brand identity includes

Scope varies, but a complete identity from us usually covers the items below. Packaging, a social kit and 3D product renders are added when the brand needs them, often in the same project so everything is designed against the same system.

  • Primary logo, secondary marks and a wordmark for small sizes
  • Colour palette with print and screen values
  • Typography pairing and a type scale
  • Brand guidelines PDF your team and suppliers can follow
  • Editable source files you own outright
  • Optional: packaging artwork, social templates, 3D renders

Working with a Toronto studio

The studio is based in Toronto and works on Eastern Time, so GTA founders get same-day answers and calls at normal hours. Branding is a conversation-heavy phase, and it helps to have the person designing your brand on the call rather than relaying notes. That person is Wala Gdiri, the founder, supported by a small network of trusted specialists for things like illustration or print production.

If you sell in Québec, we can design and check bilingual packaging and French brand language natively, which saves a translation round with your printer.

Branding mistakes we see most often

Most of the identities we're asked to fix weren't badly drawn. They went wrong earlier, in decisions made before anyone opened a design file. These are the patterns that come up again and again with founders, in Toronto and elsewhere.

  • Designing the logo before deciding who the brand is for and what it should cost
  • Copying the category leader so closely that the brand disappears next to it
  • Choosing colours that look good on screen but print muddy on packaging
  • No guidelines, so every new freelancer reinvents the brand
  • Treating the website and packaging as separate projects with separate designers

Frequently asked questions

How much does a brand identity cost in Toronto?

Our brand identities start from $2,500 CAD. Packaging, a social kit or 3D renders add to the scope; the proposal itemizes each part.

How long does branding take?

Usually 2 to 4 weeks for the identity itself. Packaging adds time, mostly for printer proofs and dieline checks.

Do you design packaging too?

Yes. Packaging is often part of the same project, designed against the new identity and prepared as print-ready files for your manufacturer.

Can you refresh our brand instead of starting over?

Often that's the better call. If your name and logo have recognition, we tighten the system around them rather than throwing that equity away.

Can we meet in person in Toronto?

Most projects run over video calls and shared files, which keeps things quick for everyone. If you're in the GTA and an in-person working session would help, we can arrange one.

What time zone do you work in?

Eastern Time. Studio hours are Monday to Friday, and we reply to every enquiry within one business day.
